This summer, we’ll be taking a team of young adults to Johannesburg, South Africa to partner with a local church to bring hope to the community. We believe this will be a great opportunity to practice the ways of Jesus, advance kingdom culture, and grow as disciples.

Mission Trip FAQs

  • Young Adults (18-29, not currently enrolled in high school)
  • Must also be actively engaged in either a Valley Creek Circle or serve on a Valley Creek team
  • Complete an application (applications will be open November 19-December 1)
  • Submit a non-refundable deposit within 72 hours of acceptance to secure your spot on the trip
  • A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due within 72 hours of acceptance to the trip.
  • Each participant will be required to raise $3,500 across four months.
  • The total cost of the trip includes airfare, all ground transportation, baggage fees, international insurance, on-location meals, lodging, ministry training, and ministry supplies.
  • The total cost of the trip does not include passport fees, souvenirs, airport meals, or immunizations.
  • All donations are tax-deductible, and all funds raised towards the trip are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • This trip will be led by Valley Creek Staff and leaders.
  • All leaders are background checked and have experience leading international mission trips.
