summer Mission Trip

This summer, we’ll be taking a team of high school students to Panama City, Panama to partner with local schools and churches to bring hope to the community. We believe this will be a great opportunity for our students to practice the ways of Jesus, advance kingdom culture, and grow as disciples.

Mission Trip FAQs

  • Students currently enrolled in 9-12th grade.
  • Eligible students must be actively engaged in either Student Circles, Student Leadership Experience, or serve on a Valley Creek team.
  • Students must be able to attend mandatory training on June 8-9 at the Flower Mound Campus.
  • Applications are closed.
  • Submit a non-refundable deposit within 72 hours of acceptance to the trip.
  • 1.5 days of community development projects
  • 3 days of gospel presentations in schools
  • Adventure Day – Excursion to Panama Canal, local markets, and the beach
  • A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due within 72 hours of acceptance to the trip.
  • The total cost of the mission trip is $3,000, due across three months.
  • Trip cost includes airfare, all ground transportation, baggage fees, on-location meals, lodging, ministry training, international insurance for the adventure day, and ministry supplies.
  • Trip cost does not include passport fees, souvenirs, airport meals, or immunizations.
  • All donations are tax-deductible, and all funds raised towards the trip are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Valley Creek Staff and Leaders will be partnering with Real Impact Missions (RIM) to lead the trip, and provide resources to track fundraising, paperwork, and tasks.
  • Real Impact Missions is a multi-denominational Christian organization that mobilizes individuals and groups for short-term missions. RIM is a registered 501(c)3 organization.
  • All leaders are background checked and have experience leading students.
