In the fall of 2026, we’ll be taking a team of adults to Tanzania to partner with Eden Mission to carry hope to their city. This will be a great opportunity to grow as disciples, practice the ways of Jesus, and advance kingdom culture.

This trip will be led by Valley Creek staff and leaders, and the trip is open to adults age 18 or above (not in high school) who are leading either a Valley Creek circle/serve team, are tithing, and are in good health.
What will the trip entail?
We will be partnering with Eden Mission to develop leaders, as well as carry hope and encourage the local church.

How will we prepare for this experience?
Each of our mission trips are designed to be short-term experiences with long-term impact. That’s why each mission trip is a six-month transformative experience that’s designed to help you grow as a disciple of Jesus. It’s an opportunity for God to do something in you as He does something through you.
We’ll have monthly meetings during that time to connect as a team, pray together, and get equipped for our ministry opportunities. During this time, we’ll learn about the culture, engage in spiritual practices, and prepare to share the gospel and our stories.
What is the cost?
Each participant will be required to raise $3,700. This will include airfare, visa, transportation, baggage fees, international insurance, meals, lodging, ministry training, and ministry supplies. This does not include passport fees or immunizations. We’ll equip you with a platform and resources for fundraising (all donations are tax-deductible, non-refundable, and non-transferable).
How do I apply for this trip?
Applications will open immediately following our Tanzania Interest Gathering in early 2026. Upon acceptance, each participant will have 72 hours to provide a $300 non-refundable deposit to secure their spot. Space will be limited.
