In the summer of 2026, we’ll be taking a group of high school students to Ecuador to bring hope through multiple kids ministry programs and community outreach. We believe this will be a great opportunity for our students to practice the ways of Jesus, advance kingdom culture, and grow as disciples.
Students who:
Complete an application (applications will be open from September 29–October 12).
Get accepted (based on meeting the criteria listed above, review of application, and space availability on the trip).
Submit a $200 non-refundable deposit within 72 hours of acceptance to the trip.
Students will participate in two days of community development projects in partnership with local churches and four days of kids ministry for children in Andes Mountain villages.
There will be one adventure day where students visit the old City of Quito (UNESCO World Heritage site) and enjoy the best view of the city from Rucu Pichincha Volcano.
The total cost of the trip is $3,000. The first $200 is a non-refundable deposit due within 72 hours of acceptance to the trip, and each student will be required to raise the remaining funds across five months leading up to the trip (December-April).
The total cost of the trip includes airfare, all ground transportation, baggage fees, meals, lodging, international insurance, ministry training, and ministry supplies.
The total cost of the trip does not include passport fees, souvenirs, additional international insurance, or immunizations.
All donations towards the trip are tax-deductible, and all funds raised for the trip are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Valley Creek Staff and leaders are leading the trip and will provide resources to track fundraising, paperwork, and tasks leading up to the trip. All leaders are background-checked and have experience leading students.
Our team will also partner with Joshua Expeditions before and during the trip. Joshua Expeditions is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides Christ-centered student educational travel, engaging the world by inspiring purpose, developing leaders, and sharing Christ.
