Strategic Partners

In our heart, we see the 7 Continent Strategy as the most strategic way to engage the world with the hope of Jesus. We want to find and create a strategic relationship with one specific church or ministry on each continent (North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Oceania, Africa, and Israel) where we can build a long-term, strategic partnership. We want to see a movement of hope around the globe.

Our Strategic Partners

Asia

To honor our partners, we do not share the name of this ministry

Our Asia partners have been engaged in ministry for over 30 years, and we’ve been partnering with them for almost 20 years. They have planted over 500 churches and have a two-year ministry school that trains and educates the next generation of leaders to reach their continent with the hope of Jesus.

Ministries: Church Planting, Education, Slum Ministry, Feeding Programs, Women Empowerment Programs, Vocational Training

North America

Valley Creek Church is a movement of hope for the city and beyond, and we’re all about raising up generations of hope carriers. We are one church that meets in multiple campuses, and carries the hope of Jesus to thousands of locations.

Ministries: Weekend Experiences, Circles, Serve Teams, Spiritual Practices, Transformative Experiences

Questions About Our Partners

1. A movement led by a “person of peace”
We want to partner with the momentum of what God’s already doing in a ministry that has the capacity to grow as well as the ability to host teams from our Valley Creek family. As a “person of peace,” the leader of this movement can clearly point to the favor, access, and authority of the Holy Spirit they’ve experienced as they reach people. Our hope is that this person is an indigenous leader, reaching both their neighborhood and their nation.

2. Walking out grace-based theology
We are a Jesus-focused, Spirit-filled, and Life-giving church. Our belief system is built on four core truths: God is good, Jesus has forgiven me, I am loved, and everything is possible. This foundation is crucial to a partnership. When we’re unified in how we represent God to the world, we believe we’ll see an increase in the impact of what He wants to say and do through our partnership.

3. Planting churches or developing leaders as their primary ministry focus
There are many needs in the world to meet, but none is greater than building God’s church. We care deeply about doing this where we live, and we’re eager to partner with other people who feel the same. We’re looking for ministries that don’t just create programs; they’re passionate about making disciples and developing kingdom leaders.

4. Modeling stewardship and strategic thinking
Everything belongs to the Lord, so we invite Him into how we use every resource He’s given us. We’re asking God for partners who steward what they currently have as they dream with God about what’s next. This looks like valuing accountability in finances and resources as well as promoting a healthy organizational structure and culture. These qualities model the kingdom values of integrity and trustworthiness.

5. Inviting us with a “Macedonian Call”
A “Macedonian Call” refers to Paul’s vision in Acts 16 of a man in Macedonia asking someone to come and help. For us, this looks like being invited by both God and the ministry to partner with what He’s doing and advance their vision. We believe the ministries God wants us to partner with will eagerly welcome the collaboration, dreaming, and stretching that will come as we seek God together. These are ministries that willingly include us in their ministry life when we visit, as well as when we’re apart.

We have three kinds of global relationships.

  1. Strategic Partners:
    • Ministries that align with our Five Traits for Strategic Partnership. Strategic Partners will receive investment, mission trip teams, and a mutually collaborative relationship. These are long-term commitments and will be reviewed every five years.
  2. Kingdom Alliances:
    • Ministries that we believe God has invited us to support, send mission trip teams, or invest in on a short-term basis.
  3. Missionary Support:
    • Valley Creek families that have been called by God, confirmed by godly relationships and spiritual authority, and sent by Valley Creek to be full-time missionaries. These commitments are reviewed yearly.
