Why We Give

We believe that giving is in response to the goodness of God in our lives. Our giving is an act of worship acknowledging who He is and what He has done. God is generous and He has created us to be generous. When we give back to God what belongs to Him, we align our hearts with His and with the work He is doing through the local and global Church.

We want to make giving as easy as possible and have several ways for you to give your tithes, offerings, and missional move commitments.

You may give checks and/or cash at weekend services. Boxes are located at each door of the Worship Center.

You can give securely via text on a one-time or recurring basis.

  1. Text the word GIVE to: 972-734-1153 (we suggest you set this number up in your contacts as VCCGIVE).
  2. Follow the prompts and set up your account with a credit or debit card. You only have to do this once.
  3. After your account is set up you can text the word VCC to give to the general fund or MMB to give to Missional Move Breakthrough.

Online giving is available for one-time, scheduled, and recurring giving. Your online giving history is also available.

There are three online giving options:

  1. E-Check
  2. Credit Card
  3. Debit Card

Creating an InFellowship account gives you access to giving online, registering for all VCC events, updating your profile, and viewing your giving throughout the year! You only need to go through this process once:

  • Click on GIVE NOW below
  • Click on SIGN UP in the bottom right
  • Enter your name, email address, and choose a password
  • A verification email will be sent to you to activate your account
  • Click the link in your activation email
  • Enter a few additional pieces of info
  • Enter your new login credentials to sign in
  • Click GIVE NOW

Your information is held securely by the Fellowship One system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions. You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled. If you have any problems or questions related to this, please email us.


In planning your year-end donations, please be aware that the VCC offices will be closed from December 25, 2016 until January 1, 2017. For your donation to be included in your 2016 giving statement, consider the following:

  • If giving in person, checks/cash must be received by December 24th since VCC offices will be closed beginning 12/25.
  • If mailing in a check, your envelope must be postmarked by December 31, 2016. Mail is usually picked up early on New Year’s Eve, so plan accordingly. All envelopes postmarked after 12/31/16 will be posted to 2017.
  • Online donations will be posted the date they are submitted.
