Hope For Seniors & Care providers

This month’s focus is hope for seniors and those who provide care for seniors. We’re going to bless every senior and care provider in the entire North Texas region and beyond. We have various ways for you, your family, and your friends to serve during Serve The City!

In-Person Serving

We’ll be serving senior residents who have experienced isolation because of the pandemic and blessing those who care for them. We will be making over 5000 gift bags for seniors and their care providers that will be delivered across North Texas.

We’ll be lending a helping hand to several local agencies who serve on the front lines assisting people in need. We will be refreshing local shelters, stocking shelves, and much more.

Each campus will be serving with specific organizations:

  • Salvation Army Kitchen & Shelter Cleaning
  • Salvation Army Church Painting

Flower Mound

  • Salvation Army Kitchen & Shelter Cleaning
  • Salvation Army Administrative Building Painting
  • Furniture Deliveries (Ages 16+)

  • Southridge Clothing Closet & Food Pantry (Ages 13+)
  • Furniture Deliveries (Ages 16+)

  • Visto Warehouse Cleanup

We’ll be prayer walking around the outside of several senior living facilities. We have balloons, bubbles, posters, and more to bring hope and encouragement to the residents. This is a great opportunity to bring joy and hope to those who have been heavily impacted by the pandemic. Mapped locations and prayer points will be provided for you at each campus. Come join the fun!

Online Serving

You can bring hope to seniors and care providers in your region from your home with your friends and family. We’ll have a Zoom call set up on Saturday, February 20 where we’ll meet and serve together. Come prepared with stationary and a pen as we serve seniors and care providers this month!
