05 Apr Worldly Limitations Are Kingdom Invitations (Online-Only Service | 04/05/2020)
When life seems limited, the greatest thing we can do is seek the unlimited God.
God is allowing all of us to be stretched so He can take things out of us and put things into us. In this season, when God has allowed everything else to be removed, we can seek God in ways that we never have before. Now is the time to focus on what we can do, to see the invitations, and see the opportunities.
Where do you feel stretched right now? What is God trying to take out of you and what is He trying to put in?
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32)
In this season, we can give grace to each other. Grace is undeserved favor and supernatural empowerment.
In the midst of this stretching season, who do you need to give grace to and who do you need to apologize to?
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)
All the things you’ve been seeking first other than God have been limited or removed. You now have the time to seek God first.
Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus. (Hebrews 12:1-2)
Things have now been removed that were keeping you from Jesus.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
There is no barrier between you and God. You can be as close to Him as you want to be.
What would it look like for you to take a next step in seeking God?
