Who is planning and leading the trip? This year’s HUB Mission Trip is being led by VCC Staff in partnership with an organization called Real Impact Missions. RIM is a full-time missionary sending organization that specializes in sending students around the world to serve the Kingdom of Christ and share the Gospel.  You may check out their website at

How do students apply for the trip? Students may  apply online starting at 9 pm on Wednesday, October 2 at, and submitting a $100  non-refundable deposit. Within a few days, RIM will post a “Go List” of the first 25 students that sign up for each session. If you are on the “Wait List”, then RIM will contact you. If you are on the “Go List” and decide to cancel later, then the money you have raised may be used towards another Real Impact Missions trip within one year of this trip (which would include next year’s spring break trip or another trip with RIM), minus any expenses incurred (i.e. to pay for your cancelled seat…).

What if students need to raise money to cover the cost? It is up to each individual student to raise or pay for their trip.  Students may write support letters, emails, social media post to their small group, family, and friends requesting prayer and financial partnership.  We will provide sample letters in the upcoming weeks, but it is up to each student to raise their own support.  Tax-deductible gifts can be made online at All checks need to be made payable to “Real Impact Missions” with the memo section of the check left empty and mailed to PO Box 1532, Gainesville, GA 30503.

Why Jamaica? Opportunity to partner with great contacts such as Youth for Christ (oldest ministry in Jamaica) with influential church relationships for follow-up and ministry opportunities.
