Every day, 23,000 people die in India; 6,000 of them died due to lack of proper medical attention and the lack of medical facilities. Situations in the slums are even worse. There is no proper sanitation or hygiene. Nearly two million children under the age of 5 die every year in India. One child every 15 seconds, which is the highest number anywhere in the world! So, we are headed to the slums to provide a children’s medical camp and care for the least of these. This trip is for medical professionals as well as anyone who has the heart to make a huge difference in the lives of the poor.
