BUILDING SERVICES DIRECTOR (FULL TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The role of Building Services Director is to manage and oversee all aspects of building services.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Overview of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Overseeing ongoing maintenance of the building including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and preventative maintenance
  • Overseeing aesthetic maintenance and enhancements to keep the building looking fresh and new
  • Working with all ministries to plan and coordinate events, including room scheduling and set-up/clean-up
  • Serve as the Service U Administrator
  • Identify and develop serve team and serve team members by building relationships with and mentoring people interested in serving in building services
  • Staff liaison for Safety teams
  • Oversee janitorial needs and requirements to maintain and prepare the building for all events
  • Manage relationships and contracts with all applicable vendors and the municipalities of all Campus locations
  • Participate in planning and design for current campus expansion and remote site development
  • Ensure all facilities are in compliance with all Local, State, and Federal laws and regulations
  • Perform other duties as requested by ministry leadership

NEXT GEN CONTENT COORDINATOR (FULL TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

This role is part of a team responsible for producing creative, relevant and effective communications that help people take their next step with Jesus. This role will help take all print media, graphic arts, video, social media and other forms of communications to a new level of excellence. This role reports to the Communications/Creative Director.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Overview of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Member of team that designs and produces all of VCC’s content for all NextGen communications, including: videos, graphics, weekend services collateral, plasmas, printed collateral, website graphics, signage, and SWAG.
  • Design art direction and creative concepts for above communications media.
  • Create content that is excellent, inspiring, and relevant.
  • Maintain and adhere to Valley Creek Branding and Communication Guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain all created graphic and video content.
  • Serve as project manager for all content that requires collaboration with Kid, Student, Young Adult, and Leadership Academy ministries.
  • Produce field-based videos as needed. Tasks will include location scouting, transportation, setup, operation, and tear down of all video, audio, and lighting equipment.
  • Manage and maintain all video production equipment.
  • Research and remain current on software, hardware, and techniques within the creative arts industry.
  • Maintain networking relationships within the graphic arts industry and with peers at other churches.
  • Participate in creative team meetings to contribute ideas, support, and critique.
  • Invite, develop, and disciple serve team members on the Communications/Creative team.
  • Perform other duties as requested by ministry leadership.

 

General Qualifications/Skills

  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects and numerous activities.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing plans and short deadlines.
  • Gifted in design and creativity.
  • Ability to turn a thought into a visual reality.
  • Developed eye for color, composition, and perspective.
  • Proficient in typography.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, After Effects).
  • Three to five years experience in graphic design and/or video.

FLOWER MOUND STUDENT DIRECTOR (FULL TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The role of the Student Director is to carry out the overall ministry vision, purpose and strategies of the ministry. They will focus on invitation and development of serve team members to shepherd students. They will also serve on teaching the teaching team

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Overview of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Implement the vision and strategies of the ministry to ensure a healthy culture
  • Champion one of the Valley Creek Five Strategies
  • Develop and shepherd serve teams
  • Be a primary teacher on the Teaching Team
  • Serve and collaborate on Student Ministry Team with passion, innovation with a teachable spirit
  • Assist with execution of events
  • Perform other duties as requested by ministry leadership
  • General Qualifications/Skills

  • Proven developer of serve teams and team leaders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with the gifting and ability to preach and teach God’s word
  • Excellent in casting vision & rallying
  • Track record of developing and empowering leaders
  • One-Three years’ experience on a student ministry staff or three plus years with significant leadership and teaching experience in a student ministry
  • Prefer experience in a large multi-site student ministry context
  • Meet confidentiality expectations
  • Proficient in MS Office; technical presentation skills

VCC KIDS KID KEEPER (PART TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The purpose of this position is to assist in providing excellent care for children during non-worship activities at the church for events requiring childcare.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Overview of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Engages and disciples children, ages infant through 12 years old
  • Teaches Bible stories and lead classroom activities
  • Assists with cleaning and straightening of rooms after children leave
  • Keeps consistent and clear communications with Kid Keeper Management

 

Required Qualifications

  • Is 16 years of age or older
  • Has a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Meets the VCC leadership requirements
  • Loves children
  • Works well with others
  • Is able to communicate with love to children and parents
  • Is on time for scheduled work hours
  • Is flexible with scheduling and work assignments
  • Has reliable and consistent transportation
  • Is able to lift 10-20 lbs (with or without assistance) and endure extended periods of standing and walking
  • Successfully completes a criminal background check

 

Preferred Qualification

  • Prior experience working with children and willingness to work with children with special needs
