CAMPUS COORDINATOR - DENTON (FULL TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Campus Coordinator assists the local Denton Ministry Leaders in carrying out the vision and strategies of Valley Creek by orchestrating and executing the administrative and operational activities for the campus. This includes leading and equipping serve team members responsible for executing these tasks.  The Campus Coordinator will support all ministries in the administration of key central systems to coordinate serve teams, manage campus resources, administer budgets and expenses, and request central services.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Overview of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible to administer central systems for resource approvals and schedule management for all campus gatherings (event scheduling); maintain campus calendar
  • Responsible for campus wide coordination and configuration of serve team assignments, scheduling, check-in and attendance tracking system(s)
  • Responsible to administer central systems for project and work management (Trello) to include the Operations Trello Board: Café purchasing, Cafe checklists (weekend and HUB), Facilities Pre and Post Service Checklists, Emergency Light Inspections, Safety Forms, Communion Checklists, Baptism Checklist, Facilities log, Facilities projects, and Guest Services lists
  • Develop and equip team responsible for general attendee database administration
  • Develop and equip team responsible for Next Gen administration including inventory management, room prep (materials, supplies, curriculum and signage), and new guest cards.
  • Develop and equip team responsible for campus operations including mid-week shopping (café, kids, office supplies), resource center inventory, information center inventory, campus cleaning logistics and coordination (carpets, janitorial team), digital promotion schedule, and campus deliveries.
  • Responsible to administer central system for facilities and technology maintenance activities
  • Responsible to administer and manage expenses for DNT local team shopping: café, kids, office supplies, Design and Environment, special events, and other accounts as assigned
  • Capture and communicate meeting minutes for local team meetings, staff meetings, and other local ministry meetings as needed
  • Develop and equip team responsible for catering and other hospitality requests
  • Develop teams to do ministry work according to 2 Timothy 2:2 and Ephesians 4:11-12.
  • Lead the discipleship & development of administrative serve teams.
  • Develop processes and be accountable to ensure existing & new serve team members are led with clarity, invited to community, equipped consistently, and empowered to serve creatively.
  • Perform other duties as requested by ministry leadership

STUDENT MINISTRY DIRECTOR - LEWISVILLE (FULL TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Lewisville Student Director is responsible to ensure the local Lewisville Student Ministry Team embodies and align’s with Valley Creek’s vision, values, and strategies. This role will also implement processes to reach the students in the Lewisville community and develop leaders.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Overview of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ultimately responsible for a thriving student ministry at the Lewisville Campus.
  • Collaborate with Central Student Staff and Lewisville Campus Pastor to ensure alignment on implementation.
  • Ensure Valley Creek’s Serve Team Commitments are being honored.
  • Develop kingdom leaders who can reach the lost and develop additional leaders within the ministry.
  • Develop and shepherd the Lewisville Serve Team regularly to help them take the next step on their journey with Jesus and grow as servant leaders.
  • Be a primary communicator on the HUB Student’s teaching team.
  • Dream with the Lord and the team to follow the Lord where He is taking the ministry.
  • Be creative and innovative.
  • Effectively manage the ministry calendar, budget, and resources for the Lewisville Student Ministry.
  • Carry out specific initiatives and ministry growth efforts as decided by Valley Creek Leadership Team.
  • Perform other duties as requested by ministry leadership.

 

General Qualifications/Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization.
  • Gifting to teach God’s word.
  • Preferred background in both student programs and/or youth/student/college ministry.
  • Committed follower of Jesus.

  • Preferred to have 1-3 years experience serving in a ministry support, coordination, and leadership role either paid or unpaid

GRAPHIC DESIGNER (FULL TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

This role is part of a team responsible for producing creative, relevant, and effective communications that help people take the next step on their journey with Jesus. This role will help take all print media, graphic arts, video, social media and other forms of communications to a new level of excellence. This role reports to the Communications/Creative Director.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Overview of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Member of team that designs all of VCC’s graphic content for all communications media, including: website; videos; e-newsletter; weekend services; plasmas; printed collateral; external advertising; signage; SWAG. 
  • Design art direction and creative concepts for above communications media. 
  • Design graphic content that is excellent, life-giving, and relevant.  
  • Design and maintain brand identity for Valley Creek Church and its’ ministries. 
  • Research and remain current on software, hardware, and techniques within the graphic arts industry. 
  • Maintain networking relationships within the graphic arts industry and with peers at other churches. 
  • Participate in creative team meetings to contribute ideas, support, and critique. 
  • Invite, develop, and disciple volunteers to serve on the Communications/Creative team.  
  • Perform other duties as requested by ministry leadership.

  • Degree or work equivalent in graphic arts. 
  • Three to five years experience in graphic design.

VCC KIDS KID KEEPER (PART TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The purpose of this position is to assist in providing excellent care for children during non-worship activities at the church for events requiring childcare.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Overview of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Engages and disciples children, ages infant through 12 years old
  • Teaches Bible stories and lead classroom activities
  • Assists with cleaning and straightening of rooms after children leave
  • Keeps consistent and clear communications with Kid Keeper Management

 

Required Qualifications

  • Is 16 years of age or older
  • Has a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ

  • Is able to communicate with love to children and parents
  • Is on time for scheduled work hours

Preferred Qualification
