VIDEO PRODUCER (FULL TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

This role is part of a team responsible for producing creative, relevant, and effective communications that help people take their next step toward Jesus. This role will help take all video, graphic arts, social media, and other forms of communications to a new level of excellence. This role reports to the Communications/Creative Director.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Overview of Responsibilities and Duties

    • Member of team that produces, directs, records, and edits all of VCC’s video content, including: message series intros; personal testimonies; announcement videos; worship elements; videos for special gatherings; ministry-specific videos, videos for social media and website.
    • Produce video content that is excellent, inspiring, and relevant.
    • Serve as project manager for video productions that require collaboration with other team members and volunteers. This includes coordinating volunteers for production and post-production work.
    • Produce field-based videos as needed. Tasks will include location scouting, transportation, setup, operation, and tear down of all video, audio, and lighting equipment.
    • Manage and maintain all created video content.
    • Manage and maintain all video production equipment inside and outside of the video studio.
    • Prepare video content for website media library.
    • Research and remain current on software, hardware, and techniques within the video industry.
    • Maintain networking relationships within the video industry and with peers at other churches.
    • Participate in creative team meetings to contribute ideas, support, and critique.
    • Invite, develop, and disciple volunteers to serve on the Communications/Creative team.
    • Perform other duties as requested by ministry leadership.

 

Job-Specific Qualifications/Skills

  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects and numerous activities.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing plans and short deadlines.
  • Proficient with Final Cut Pro or Avid.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (advanced After Effects).
  • DVD authoring.
  • Video Codec authoring.
  • 3D software a plus (Cinema 4D).
  • Degree or work equivalent in radio, TV, film, broadcast design, video production.
  • Three to five years experience as a senior editor, motion designer, video producer.

GROUPS DIRECTOR (FULL TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Groups Director role develops, shepherds, and equips leaders of adult small groups, preparing these leaders to help people find godly relationships and take next steps together.  Each Groups Director is assigned a specific group of active Group Leaders, as well as a pipeline of future leaders who are actively preparing to lead their own group. This role reports to the Strategic Groups Director.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Overview of Responsibilities

  • Carry the vision and values of Valley Creek into small groups through their leaders.
  • Pray for and encourage leaders.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver formal equipping classes to inspire and prepare new leaders.
  • Organize, prepare, and lead small equipping huddles with existing leaders.
  • Maintain contact with leaders to be aware of their alignment, unity, health, and next steps.
  • Draft and edit Discussion Guides on weekends.
  • Provide leadership on weekends with Guest Central, Information Center, atrium presence, etc.
  • Participate fully in Local Team meetings to foster a healthy leadership team environment.
  • Perform other duties as requested by ministry leadership (baptisms, classes, gatherings, etc.).

 

Job-Specific Qualifications/Skills

  • Ability to connect and build relationships with a wide variety of adults.
  • Experience with identifying, encouraging, inviting, inspiring, and developing new leaders.
  • Experience with leading (and ideally multiplying) adult small groups.
  • Ability to teach in a formal classroom environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize information, and manage a fluid schedule.

KIDS CENTRAL TEAM COORDINATOR (FULL TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The role of the Kids Central Team Coordinator is to support the overall ministry vision, strategies and central processes for multi-site kids’ ministry. They will embrace innovation and consistently look to improve the overall structure and processes for supporting and resourcing the campus Kids ministries to maintain excellence while fostering a serving spirit and contributing to a unified, Jesus-focused, Spirit-filled, life-giving culture.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Overview of Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Central Kids and Kids Operations Directors to provide vision clarity while serving the unique culture and needs of the campus Kids ministries
  • Carry out specific initiatives and ministry growth efforts as decided by Valley Creek leadership teams
  • Oversee and maintain the Central Kids project calendar and provide status updates to interdependent areas with clarity in order to keep projects on schedule and ensure they are completed with excellence
  • Lead the discipleship and development of Central Kids writing and editing team
  • Assist with ministry projects as assigned by the Central Kids leadership team including but not limited to original content creation for Kids weekend services, EPIC, parent communications and ministry gatherings
  • Answer general email questions and inquiries for the Kids ministry team
  • Create and prepare slide shows and worship set lists for Kids Weekend gatherings
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Central Kids leadership team

VCC KIDS KID KEEPER (PART TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The purpose of this position is to assist in providing excellent care for children during non-worship activities at the church for events requiring childcare.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Overview of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Engages and disciples children, ages infant through 12 years old
  • Teaches Bible stories and lead classroom activities
  • Assists with cleaning and straightening of rooms after children leave
  • Keeps consistent and clear communications with Kid Keeper Management

 

Required Qualifications

  • Is 16 years of age or older
  • Has a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ

  • Loves children

CENTRAL KID KEEPER COORDINATOR (PART TIME)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The role of the Central Kid Keeper Coordinator is to provide leadership, development and discipleship over all aspects of the Kid Keeper team. Specific areas of oversight include building and developing the Kid Keeper team (hiring, staffing, scheduling and discipleship of Campus and Team Leads) and interfacing with ministry leaders to ensure proper adherence to Kid Keeper usage policies.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Develop, communicate and encourage compliance with Kid Keeper Usage Policy
  • Partner with ministry leads to schedule events across all campuses
  • Schedule Kid Keeper employees to cover approved events at all campuses
  • Oversee hiring process for new Kid Keeper employees
  • Oversee onboarding and equipping of new Kid Keeper employees
  • Approve weekly time sheets for all Kid Keeper staff; interface with Finance Department as needed
  • Lead the vision casting and equipping for all Kid Keepers gatherings to align with Valley Creek vision, culture and strategies.
  • Support and implement specific Kid Keepers initiatives and growth efforts as decided by the Valley Creek leadership team
  • Lead the discipleship and development of Kid Keeper Campus and Team Leads
  • Partner with the Central Kids Team to develop and adjust engagement materials for scheduled events
  • Ensure Campus and Team Leads are equipped with safety protocol; fire and storm reaction policies
  • Lead attendance reporting roll-up with inputs from multiple campuses
  • Lead financial reporting, expense tracking and analysis with inputs from multiple campuses
  • Collaborate with central/campus facilities teams to communicate room usage needs and needed repair
  • Collaborate with Communications Department to craft communication plan detailing Kid Keeper availability and provided care as specific to each campus or event
  • Manage inventory of Kid Keeper shirts/swag and ensure enough central stock to outfit campus teams

Candidate Description

The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in kids’ ministry and/or leading in a preschool/daycare setting. It will be essential that this candidate is gifted with strong leadership, communication and administrative skills and is committed to equip and empower others in order to build high functioning teams while caring for and encouraging those involved. Experience leading and organizing teams will be important, along with evidence of consistent personal spiritual growth.
