We say what we truly believe. (Read: Numbers 12-14)

Israel had the opportunity of a lifetime; to go take a new territory God had promised would become their home. But the people did not trust God: “We can’t! And they spread among the Israelites a bad report” (13:31-32). God said, “you can”, but the people said, “we can’t.” Look at the consequences of their unbelief: Their lives would now be wasted, wandering and dying in the wilderness; they would miss the fulfillment of God’s promise; and their children would have to suffer because of their unbelief. Choose to believe and trust God’s promises! When you are tempted to doubt him, tempted to be afraid, or go back to familiar bondage – speak out loud the promise of our Faithful God. He is teaching you to live by faith, not by sight. Your Promised Land of freedom, love, joy and peace will require you to trust God – despite what your circumstances might be. So stop complaining, stop criticizing the leaders, stop talking about what you think God cannot do. Believe God, and talk about His powerful promises.
